REBECCA GOODYEAR has built a career in branding, PR, marketing & digital, and has a passion for health, wellbeing, beauty and tech. With a diverse career spanning over 20 years in fashion, beauty and the natural products industry, Rebecca continues to work in these fields today on a consultancy basis.

Rebecca’s first full-time job was as a “Design & Production Assistant” in a small luxury fashion company, where the company ethos was “all hands on deck”. Having studied music, she credits much of her business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit to the experiences she had in this company. These included: travelling to Peru on numerous occasions to oversee product development of collections and quality control of production; managing early email marketing campaigns, forecasting, buying and projections.

From this company she moved to a more corporate setting, still in fashion, which she soon realised was not for her non-conformist self; she spent a lot of time ticking boxes and incredibly bored. Thankfully, a maternity cover role opened up for her at the smaller sister company of the corporate and she used this as a stepping stone before landing another maternity role with a nineties-noughties cult handbag brand. Here Rebecca would stay for three years, before the double-dip recession hit and the company ceased trading. This role saw Rebecca travel to Hong Kong and China, as well as developing the private label side of the business.

Realising that she didn’t want to be dependent upon others for her source of income, Rebecca set off on the path of a freelance PR and marketeer. Two of her first three clients bagged were organic beauty brands, sparking her interest in and passion for natural products. Fast forward 11 years, and Rebecca has been the owner of a successful full circle agency, offering branding, digital, marketing, PR and business development services primarily to the natural products industry, and has worked with some of the biggest brands in the industry, including JASON, Avalon Organics, Garden of Life and Organic Traditions.
